Extract obtained from Echinacea (Echinacea purpurea). It contains chloric acid, caftaric acid, chlorogenic acid, and echinacoside. It has a photoprotective and anti-inflammatory effect, as well as bactericidal and antiviral activity. It stimulates the immune system.

Plant native to the prairies of the central regions of the United States. Used by Native Americans for topical healing purposes. They treated wounds, stings and snake bites. Also other intestinal pains and diseases such as measles and gonorrhea.
